Gwehelog Methodist Church

How to get here:

• From Newport, Usk and the South:
• As you approach Usk from the A449, take right turn signed Gwehelog. (Coming through Usk, this is a left turn on the road out towards the A449)
• Follow this road for approx 2 miles, through Gwehelog Village and on past 'The Hall' public house. Coninue for just under a mile until you come to a junction where the road ahead of you drops down the hill, but where turnings to the left and right remain on the level.
• Turn left here, by the bus stop, into the lane signposted 'Trostrey'. The lane immediately bends to the left. Continue a further 1/4 mile. Gwehelog chapel is ahead on the Right, just over a small crossroads. Park on the grass verge at the side of the lane.
• By rail or bus to Newport
• Then local bus service 60 from Newport to Monmouth, which runs hourly during the week, less frequently on Sunday.
• The bus stops beside the turning for Trostrey. The chapel is a few minutes walk along the lane.
